What you get

Know what you're dealing with before you call anyone

A calibrated score

0–39 is lower severity. 40–69 is moderate: have a pro look at it soon. 70–100 is serious, with active water, structural, electrical, or safety risk. Whatever the score, have a licensed pro confirm it.

Costs for your area

Typical numbers for the trade and the size of the job, adjusted for your zip code, so a quote doesn't surprise you.

The right next step

DIY when it's safe and simple. Quotes from local pros when it isn't. A public adjuster when it looks sudden and expensive.

Your details stay private

We strip location data from every photo and never sell your number. If we use a photo, it's never with your name or contact details.

Questions

What kind of photos work best?

One clear, well-lit photo of the damage itself, close enough to see detail. Roof, gutters, siding, a leak, a deck, an outlet. If the photo isn't enough to judge, we'll tell you exactly what to shoot next.

Is this a real inspection?

No. It's an AI estimate from a photo that shows how serious the damage looks and what repairs like it typically cost. It's a starting point, not a substitute for an inspection: always have a licensed professional look at it before you make repair, safety, or insurance decisions.

Where do the cost numbers come from?

A table of typical repair costs by trade and job size, adjusted for your area using your zip code. They're ranges, not quotes. Real quotes come from the pros you choose.

Does it cost anything?

No. The score is free. If you ask for quotes, the contractor network that receives your request may pay us. That never affects your score.

What happens to my photo?

We strip location data from every photo before storing it, and your results page isn't listed anywhere or shown in search engines. Under our Terms, we may use photos and scores on our website and social media, but never with your name or contact details, and never a photo that shows people, faces, house numbers, or license plates. You can withdraw your photo any time using the link at the bottom of your results page.

Should I file an insurance claim?

We never tell you to file a claim. When damage looks sudden and expensive, we'll flag it and, where available, point you to a licensed public adjuster who works for you rather than the insurer.

AI estimate, not an inspection. This score comes from a photo, and a photo can't show everything. Whatever the score, always have a licensed professional inspect the damage before you make repair, safety, or insurance decisions. Cost ranges are typical figures for your area, not quotes. We never tell you whether to file an insurance claim.
